The lure of the delicate flower,
Batling though all the odds.
A distraction, a friend, a comfort
As roots spread within the rot.
Opportunistic, they seed in the bruised
Indestructible, they feed on the soft.
A few sweet rules to hide the cracks
In the path you have almost forgot.
A lot has changed in the last year but I still like roll up jeans. 😂 I am having a proud moment for myself as I think I’m getting closer to that mythical stage in recovery of “acceptance” which I never thought would be possible. Ever. Even though I don’t look anywhere near perfect, atleast I can now see that the recent photo on the right is better than the starving one on the left. Not just in name of vanity but because I remember how anxious and drained I felt in the left. I’m working hard to slowely fill my life with more worthwhile goals and I often have mini battles, but after a year I can definitely see who’s winning the war. 💪 I have a few banana skins coming up but I am determined not to fall. Go team recovery! 🌻
the real reason I have bangs (this is how to keep away boys that have manic-pixie-dream-girl syndrome)

I don’t think people get art. I feel like people think art is something created by a tortured soul and you have to go out of your way to go to an art gallery and you have some kind of emotional response and that’s art.
But that’s bullshit
You walk into a grocery store and you’re surrounded by art. Who do you think designs the packages? Fucking artists. Who do you think designed your house? Your bedsheets? Your car? Artists.
Art is a necessity. It’s everywhere, we wear it, we talk about it, we live in it. It’s everywhere. Every color, negative space, font, placement, material, you come into contact with an artist had a hand in that. TV, movies, music, graphics, It’s everywhere, it’s everything
